Stacking and bundling

Bandall also supplies solutions specifically for stacking and bundling. From stacks of 2 or other multiples and products of all sizes, we have the solution. One example is the Bandall TRLS-ST fully automatic stacking and bundling model. Also multi-head installations, multiple bands and cross-banding options.

Stacking and bundling with a multi-head machine

Where there is a greater production capacity Bandall supplies multi-head banding equipment with integrated infeed and outfeed conveyors, and stacking units where required. Product specifications and customer requirements determine whether one, two, three or more banding heads are needed, standard or customised.

Products can be fully automatically transported from a central entry point to into the banding heads by means of servo pushers. And onwards via an outfeed conveyor. The most optimal solution will be achieved by full consultation with the customer.

Some of the benefits of stacking and bundling with a multi-head machine:

  • Greater production capacity
  • Fully automatic infeed and outfeed
  • Significant reductions in packaging materials
  • Easy to adjust
  • Bundling with unprinted banding and with preprinted and positioning
  • Print during the banding process, in any number of positions over the entire width and length of the band – such as bar codes, best before dates, promotional texts, etc.
  • All models include the unique Ultra Clean Seal (UCS) system
  • Unique in bundling with the thinnest material – from just 35 micron

Stacking, bundling and cross-banding

No two products are the same and each application has its own specific requirements. In some cases cross-banding will be the best solution. For some products this will create an even more secure and sturdy package, which can be beneficial in order picking or other logistical processes. Cross-banding can be achieved with both standard and fully automatic and multi-head equipment.
